Community Tasting Notes 3

January 17, 2021 - Expressive nose displaying very ripe sweet yellow fruit, yellow and white peach, lemon curd, spicy spices, grilled fat and strong limestone mineral. Very good concentration, packed concentrated yellow fruit, rich and sweet, good acidity and strong mineral, and a medium to long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with a hint of heat. This is a fat, sweet and ripe Chassagne. I would prefer slightly less fat and sweetness.

June 8, 2020 - Crisp and vibrant. Lightly floral. Simple but pleasing, whiffs of lemons, honeysuckle, peaches and vanilla. Light and lively but sufficient body to pair well with grilled chicken. Good QPR

March 6, 2019 - By the glass. Unbalanced on the nose where concentrated aromas fruits like lime or apricot are mixed with others equally powerful from the wood: toasted and sweet spices like vanilla. All that exuberance disappears in the mouth where it is much softer but still marked by wood. It needs to settle yet.
