  March 20, 2024 - This really blossomed over the evening on the palate but the nose was present from the start. Beautiful wine. Fragrant, herbal and full. Beautiful stuff from none other than… Vietti.

  August 3, 2020 - Profoundly good, and seemed to have really opened up at the 3 hour open mark. That said, it's clear that this is toying with me, teasing, holding back. Just as good on day 2, and 3. Fun, and rewarding experience that will most likely outlive me by good measure. HOLD. highly recommended

  February 1, 2020 - The ‘15 Vietti Rocche has once again impressed me for its lively, fresh and sight-specific nature, in the face of the sun-kissed 2015 vintage. The nose showed sweet dusty spice, which blew off to reveal pure, ripe strawberry fruits, with smoky minerals, wild herbs and moist soil tones adding depth. On the palate, silky, pliant textures flooded the senses with saline-spiked red fruits, spice, and sweet inner florals, kept in check by a mix of zesty acids and slow-mounting fine tannin. The finish was long, showing its structure through a web of mineral, spice, and saturating tannins, with a core of red fruits and spice lingering long.

  Even deeper and richer than the previous three Rocche wines. This has a mix of the savory notes of the Brovia, along with the fruit and rose perfume of the other offerings. This has great depth, as well as a sense of focus and clarity that is impressive. There is a sense of sap coupled with lift and freshness, with terrific depth. I usually find Vietti's wines more admirable than intriguing, with a little too much polish, even with this offering, but this '15 is pretty terrific. Complete and harmonious.
