January 6, 2024 - Same bottle as Dec 10 (coravinned) but aired out.

    馃憙 floral
馃憛 Ripe plum, velvety tannins, somewhat short earthy and chocolatey finish. Deep, concentrated flavour, not very complex. Where are the black tea notes from before?

Wondering if it's on the decline as I'm not as impressed as I was for the first bottle. Should drink up!

December 10, 2023 - PnP 馃憛 not sure if the viscosity has decreased but by mouth feel it's pleasantly low. Juicy. Smooth. The fruit might be giving way to secondary flavours since I last tasted 2 years ago, black fruit giving way to dark chocolate, tea leaves, and a lot of sweet tannin. No time to air out this glass but hoping that a decant for the rest of the bottle will tame those tannins a bit.

August 28, 2022 - Delicious. Really hitting its stride. Lots of life left in this vintage.

    June 6, 2022 - Dominated by cooked/scorched plums

January 29, 2022 - 93 Jan 2022 馃憙 fresh black and blue berries, jammed rather than stewed, pressed flowers. 馃憛 Smooth, nicely balanced, grippy tannins come out at the end to play. Fresh blackberries and cassis at the forefront. Dark chocolate, espresso, and tobacco bring up the rear. Complex, but not too much. Like reading an article on mRNA technology. Smooths out even more with an hour or two decant. Very good now, and will probably get better in the next few years.
