October 20, 2023 - I always pop and pour, but this needs at least 2 hours to unfold. First a lot of asian spice, earth and black cherries. Later glorious dense, rich with cherries and great sweet fruit, but also still some tannins in a medium finish. Still on the young side, but really exiting.

August 6, 2023 - This needed 3 hours at least. Beautiful texture, finessed blue and red fruit along with subtle well integrated spice.

August 5, 2023 - Weekend in Michigan with Wine; 8/5/2023-8/6/2023 (Asian Spice House - Buchanan MI): Seamless and wonderfully long with an unmistakably Vosne character of red berry and cherry throughout with buckets of Asian five spice. Amazing harmony and depth. I haven't tasted this wine in at least a decade and am thrilled with how it is evolving. No rush to drink up.

December 24, 2022 - Silky tender. Nose a little timid, this time round. Long.

December 12, 2021 - Fragrant and exquisite nose of faded rose, sweet spices and black fruits. We inhale the wine for several minutes before dipping our lips in it.
Magnificent mouth feel with Vosne velvet. The wine is structured with a cold heart, but enveloped in a voluminous, pulpy and structured juice. The silkiness then gives way to a noble complexity. It’s floral, then the velvety density of the material brings out bright fruit mixed with diffuse leather. With aeration will come gamey notes. The wine is revealed in layers with density and an acidity all in filigree which gives the wine a masterful balance which brings length and delicacy to a dense Pinot. The palatability of this wine is superb.
Wonderful peacock-tail finish, which explodes on earthy aromas and sweet spices, paving the way for a length that never ends.
A great Pinot, racy and noble, very “cold beauty”.3 people found this helpful Comment
