October 29, 2023 - robust argentinian malbec with jammy taste, smoke, blackberries. pared with pasta, fish stew and mediterranean foods.

November 14, 2020 - Nice, fruity. Not especially complex but easy to drink and a pleasant accompaniment to beef. A bit of sweetness reveals itself as honey and there is a bit of pencil shavings to give it some interest. Enjoyable.

Nose - pepper
Palate: Decent amount of fruit (Blackberry) but lots of pepper without the rounding out spices. Maybe hints of other more savory spices.
I would give this another 3 years in the cellar before trying again.
