September 27, 2022 - Complex and very smooth. Much better than nearly all bargain Tuscans - or other low priced Italians for that matter - that I have tried, and I have tried quite a few.

August 19, 2022 - Good QPR and excellent with red sauce pasta or pizza. KISTDG's review is spot on: Needs air or decant. Many of the negative comments correlate with premature drinking or lack of decant - note the drinking window!

May 26, 2022 - Too much tar and rubber - This must have been stored poorly before I bought it. Seems like there may have been some decent underlying wine there, but it’s buried now.

June 26, 2021 - LET IT BREATHE for about 4 hrs and it is a crowd pleaser. Is it a complex highly structured wine? No. But many of the negative comments about this wine can be significantly mitigated by decanting. I served this alongside similarly priced wines from the Southern Rhone and Washington state, and the Monrosso was the clear favorite.

March 26, 2021 - Medium ruby in the glass. Quite simple nose showing cherry, spice, some Mediterranean herbs. Medium-bodied, nothing special. Bit hot on the finish.
