September 20, 2023 - I’ve been disappointed by several highly rated LL wines from this era, but this one is clearly a winner. Favorite so far: nicely evolved from previous bottle (which I also enjoyed) and ready to go now.

October 17, 2022 - My wife popped this without me knowing as I was hoping to hold a bit longer, but what the heck - time to enjoy. Definitely tasted more of the Syrah versus Zinfandel influence here. No ripeness at all. I picked up pencil lead, wood shavings and a bit of Geppetto's workshop here. Tannins still evident with fairly low acidity. Very different profile than what I normally drink, but extremely enjoyable. Think it would be a great food wine with good pairing flexibility.
