February 23, 2021 - Sour cherry, raspberry, lactic, funk, acid. Oak is mild, tannins are milder. It's a good wine and reasonably well balanced, but I can't see myself getting it again. It's a bit better with food than on its own, but it is still quite drinkable.

April 6, 2019 - 🍇 100% Novac. 👀 Medium ruby with pinky purple rim. 👃 Cherries, raspberry jam, strawberry jelly cubes and spicy rose. 👅 Less fruity on the palate with some black cherry, but more dominated by old oak, tobacco, forest floor, rose petals, violets and menthol. Dark chocolate on the finish. Medium acidity, light tannin, medium alcohol. This is a really interesting medium bodied wine with plenty of complexity for drinking with or without food. It may keep for a few more years but I think it’s probably best drunk in the next year or so.
