September 28, 2023 - My home country letting me down again as this Borolo is middle of the road at best. Pricey for Costco wine and yet wine spectator gives it 92 points. Certainly NOT! bright fruits orange and fairly acidic. No tannins to speak of and the finish was not memorable.

April 26, 2023 - Light ruby red at core, orange hues on the edge. Floral nose with some spice secondarily. Tart cherry flavors. Nice acidity, some tannin. Great bargain, impulse buy at Costco. Had I known, I would have bought a case.

March 3, 2023 - Really quite good after a few hours. At first had some funk that needed to blow off then really opened up beautifully.

December 4, 2022 - Happy with this find at Costco. $30. Dried red fruit, tobacco leaf, spice box, dusty on the nose. Palate matches. Tannins are integrated, not fully but in a nice place. Medium bodied, medium + acid and tannins. Medium long finish, nothing spectacular, but a good Barolo. This started to fall off a little on the finish after 4 hours or so.

August 31, 2022 - Ok, now this is quite a pleasant surprise under $30 from Costco. Nose is classic with rose petals, rusty iron, sour cherry, iodine, and cured tobacco, all of which is echoed on the palate with a bitter orange underpinning. The palate is a little hollow, which knocks this down a few, but it’s still nicely balanced and food-friendly.
