April 6, 2013 - The timing was right with this wine, but the flavors were simply not what I wanted, or was recalling from Aglianicos I drank in Italy. Disappointing.

November 8, 2011 - Good fruit and concentration. Plenty of tannin. But developing that funky, off-putting nose that older Italian wines seem to get. That nose wore off some as the bottle was consumed, but overall it was a mediocre drinking experience.

March 30, 2011 - Beautifully balanced. Plenty of fruit and still smooth wood tannins. Drank with a good friend who is an Italian chef... we all loved it.
