December 19, 2023 - 9 months later. Nose of ripe blackberries, new leather, smoked fruit and a touch of herbs. On the first sip, tart plum, fresh huckleberries, graphite followed by a long finish with crunchy tannins and remainders of black cherries. Very very deep and complex with bright fruit still at the forefront, this wine is special at the moment but still has plenty of time to go.

March 1, 2023 - Black cherry, blueberry, oregano, and slight vanilla on the nose. Decanted for 3 hours, became silky, rich, and balanced. Black cherry, dark berries, chocolate and citrus notes on the palate. Great finish, dry chewy tannins. Definitely could lay down for at least 5 move years.

May 17, 2021 - Black cherry, raspberry, dark plum, fresh cracked black pepper. Full bodied and still pretty oaky for my palate (but much less than a typical California Syrah). Great structure though, it will benefit from further aging. At this age. it needs food.
