  This really opened up with air. The nose is perfumed with mostly red fruit. This is a restrained and elegant syrah. Kudos to Scherrer.

  February 9, 2021 - As a general comment I agree with other notes that Scherrer wines tend to be well structured and somewhere between New and old world, and this was no exception. I enjoyed it and think it would benefit from even a few more years of cellaring.
