February 29, 2024 - My last of these from a six pack I got a few years back. Some of the bottles were affected in some way, but not this one - this sang like a bird. The dryness on the finish was extraordinary - it felt more like a Pauillac from the Bordeaux Left Bank than a Napa cab. Very dark and brooding, the fruit was quite hidden and shrouded but still there and beautiful. One of the best cabs I've had from Bordeaux in a long time. A bit pricey now though.

October 8, 2022 - One of a six pack I got from Spectrum auctions, and again this batch is a bit awry. Had this standing upright in my cabinet for a few days. It showed reasonably well in many respects upon opening - the first glass was inky black, masses of dark black and blue fruit, and a bit more open than the first one of these I had a couple of years ago. But, there is just something awkward and awry going on - might have been stored poorly. I've enjoyed others from this producer, though the price is too high.

January 12, 2022 - Starting to reevaluate this wine. While there is some impressive power about it, it's kind of flabby and feels affected in some ways. Got the half case from Spectrum - may have been stored poorly.

January 23, 2021 - They must've scraped the oak barrels with fine bovine manure, because this wine smells like sh*t and tastes like sh*t, so the consistency is there. The best way to describe this AWWFUL(in a New Jersey accent) wine is...imagine a gorilla that farted into a glass of two buck Chuck. Never again will I spend $ on this crappernet.

January 7, 2021 - This is a very high quality wine that should be treated as, and afforded the same time that anyone would a nice BDX. I think 5-10 more years of cellaring will be perfect.
