December 6, 2018 - Medium purple. Med+ intensity, black pepper, ripe strawberry, carbonic maceration notes, lavender, black olive, dust, no oak. Dry, med+ acid, med+ tannin, med body/alcohol. Med+ complexity, med finish. Enjoyable everyday drinker, needs food.

August 2, 2018 - Monthly Kermit Lynch tasting at Wine Wizards: Often buy this wine but did not this time. The first bottle was badly corked, it was the end of the tasting and last the price at $33 made me less interested. That said the second bottle was a sound, big, round, lush Syrah that was quite interesting.
