Community Tasting Notes 20

February 10, 2023 - Ripe and big black fruit, slightly sweet and still faintly tannic. Everything manages to come together nicely, but with a few rough edges. Good now.

November 26, 2022 - PnP with no air. Drank nice out of the gate, medium-full bodied with definitely a bit of heat and drying tannins. Day 2 after Vacuvin it was silky smooth, indicating this has plenty in the tank for 3-5 years. Delicious

September 7, 2022 - Pnp. Dark purple-garnet in colour. Nose of red licorice with crushed red cherries with some prunes and a hint of smoke. Spicy black cherries with touches of tobacco and blackberries are noted on the palate; tannins are still noticed. This to me is a straight fruit forward drinker which is fine by me. Medium+ bodied with a short-medium finish. Not as hot when I first tasted this in Dec 2019.

May 25, 2022 - Ripe black fruit with slightly sweet spice. Good density, moderate nuance, but certainly fun now.

December 4, 2021 - Dusty, sour cherry, ripe plum, cigar box, sweet tobacco and garrigue. Tannins are resolved. Drinking well now with good energy and lift.
