January 21, 2024 - Medium red; lovely nose of red fruits; mellowed nicely on the palate with a long finish. Rather restrained for Dehlinger; alcohol not apparent and nice balance. Good wine with considerable life ahead.

November 5, 2023 - Not much here aromatically. Body is medium. Clean flavors of tart black cherry, cranberry, mint, spice and mineral. Acidity is there but is minimal. Finishes well albeit without complexity but it notable for it's balance and purity

October 21, 2023 - Astonishingly fresh, and definitive of RRV fruit.

October 19, 2023 - From a well-cellared bottle that was popped and poured, this medium ruby wine was subsequently tasted over a 2-3 hour interval. Fully unleashing its aromatic profile after the initial 30 minutes in glass, it serves up an intense array of black cherry and dark plum fruit that is flanked with baking spices, rose petals, cocoa and sage. Medium-bodied, fresh, softly oaked and with supple tannins, it delivers flavors mirroring the nose. The wine's 14.5% alcohol is not a factor when served at the appropriate temperature (55-60°F). Dense and layered on the mid-palate, it moves on to a lengthy, lifted finish. This Pinot is a delight to drink at this point in its evolution. Comparably cellared bottles should continue to provide pleasure throughout the remainder of this decade. Drink now-2030.
