May 31, 2023 - A nice Volnay that needs more time to become a terrific one.
Mid-crimson colour. Certainly possessing a tightly wound nose, it took a bit of to wake it to life but once it did, it has red fruit, raspberry and hints of oak. Medium body that is light and delicate but possesses power and drive to make it a pleasurable wine to drink. A touch of oak on the back palate that needs to integrate which I suspect it will.
Drink from 2024 to 6+ years from then. -

December 24, 2021 - Medium + aroma and taste, cherry, earthy forest floor notes, high acidity. It is too young still as the tannins are still quite present. Four hours after opening the bottle, the wine started showing more and more.
