March 2, 2024 - On the nose: cocoa, plum, cherry, vanilla. On the palate: a lush generous mouth feel on display after two hours in the decanter, more plum & blueberry, licorice, with a long finish. Served with grilled prime NY Strip and a mushroom lemon zest risotto. Symphonic!

June 2, 2022 - Pop and poured, through a Centellino. Took about 30 minutes to start opening up, but clearly would've benefitted from a more proper decant. Really drinking well right now. Would hold what I have for a few more years or give it a good couple of hours before approaching. Very good on its own as well.

November 15, 2020 - Very deep and inky purple with powerful nose of prunes, bell peppers,, fennel, vanilla and smoke. Developing wine. Palate: dry, with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, pronounced flavors of black currant, mint, minerals, bitter chocolate. Powerful and long finish with a very good mouthfeel. Very good wine can drink now but will be a lot more enjoyable in 3-5 more years.
