  March 7, 2021 - Good value, steady hand, stylistically right down the middle. A solid village level cuvée. Believe this is ready to be consumed now and wouldn’t wait any longer.

  July 28, 2018 - Winebar [4 Whites, 6 Reds, & 5 *shared* Reds] from 07/27/18 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Typically, 55 yr old vines grown in clay & limestone soils located in the lower part of the hill of Santenay. [The subsoil is composed of different limestone layers (pebbles & marly soils).] Primary & malolactic fermentations using wild yeasts occur in FR oak casks (15% new) of 500 liters named “demi-muids.” After aging on the fine lees for 12 mos, & a month before bottling, the wine from the different barrels is put in a s/s tank to make the blend.
  
  N: Minerals, vanilla, butter underneath? Some perfume?
  
  P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE frt very nicely counterbalanced by an acidity which fairly seamlessly transitions into a LONG, balanced, tangy/swt (65:35) finish with HINTS of very, VERY slight bitterness to add intrigue. For now & into '21, + could improve for a bit. My VG+/EXC-. [I didn't see another source with which to compare this vendor's $33.95.]
