Slight jubey red and black fruits, slightly bretty/farmyardy, a little savour element, a little leather, sweet spice, a sense of wetness. In the mouth it's juicy with fresh red and black fruit, leather, tight chalky tannins, long, alcohol warmth present but more controlled, wetly enjoyable and works for me.
I guessed Cotes du Rhone from a slightly left of centre producer from 2015 -

July 28, 2018 - Adelaide trip; 7/26/2018-7/29/2018 (Adelaide and the surrounding environs): savoury toasted red berry and strawberry underpinned by meaty, slight hoppy notes with peppery spice, On the palate red berries, spice, gritty, grippy, drying tannins beats the fruit and the spice to the ground but does let them crawl out of the room. Very young. Compelling. Very good for me.
