April 20, 2023 - Popped and poured. Still youthful and room to improve but very enjoyable as it is. Opened up over a couple of hours, the black fruit intensity blossoming in the glass. Hints of tobacco and earthy tones all framed by still quite grippy tannins suggesting this will hold up for many more years. I'll wait another 3 before opening my last bottle.

April 9, 2023 - Deep purple colour. Still youthful looking. Medium bodied. Still quite tannic. Notes of leather and pencil shavings. Thin length. Enjoyable but not exceptional. Good value

January 29, 2023 - Decanted 8 hours and it still exhibited a load of berry fruit. Mostly primary. This needs at least five more years to start drinking. If you like very fruit forward wine then you will like this now. For me, it really needs another ten years. Still, a good wine!

January 5, 2023 - Decanted five hours and the tannins softened but it is still quite youthful. Lovely long finish. This is excellent value and will go on for another ten years at least! Despite most other recent reviews stating this wine is now ready, I think it needs a few more years to really open up. Can definitely be enjoyed now, but lets see what it’s like in 2028!

December 11, 2022 - Cherry, currant, graphite, chocolate and some oak tannins. Delicious with the herbal, roast rack of lamb. Also excellent with the scalloped potatoes and cheese. Drink now.
