October 2, 2022 - This was an impressive CDP, best from that region I've had in a while. I liked its darker fruit profile (perhaps more syrah/mourvedre in there then some?) notes of herbs de Provence and smooth tannins. Quite full-bodied and yet the alcohol doesn't stick out overly much. A very good food wine, enjoyed last night with braised lamb shanks (with Middle Eastern spices) and polenta. Not sure it will ever gain a ton of complexity, but will try to hold my remaining bottles, as this seems to have something in reserve.

December 27, 2021 - Earthy, with loads of green olives, herbs, peppery, spice, and green leafy notes to accompany the sweet, ripe, cherries, the wine is elegant, fresh and the kirsch in the finish seals the deal. You can drink this now with pleasure.

May 26, 2021 - Up a point. This is enjoyable, especially at the price point I paid (the current wine-searcher price is nearly double what I paid.) Good fruit but this one was backed up with more earth, which I prefer. Just the right amount of stone and dirt give this an extra dimension.
Already a fair bit of fine sediment, so decant or stand up ahead of time.
