  April 11, 2018 - Opened nearly three hours before drinking, but no formal decant. Deep ruby maroon color. Rich nose of herb garden, fig, spearmint and anise. Smooth, velvety, mouth puckering palate. Full, round tannins on the long finish. This was a nice balance of “green” and “fruity”.

  October 20, 2017 - Four hour decant. Deep, dark ruby color with a hint of purple. Prune, graphite, autumn tree leaves and fresh parsley on the complex nose. Tongue-drying tannins and healthy acidity on the lush palate. Firm tannins on the medium finish. Overall serious, yet seductive, wine. Perhaps a touch greener than I would have liked, but very well made and a pleasure to drink.

  June 27, 2015 - This Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend offers a complex nose of red cherry, black currant, black licorice, coffee, leather, cedar, clove, and forest floor. A vibrant plum attack leads to a full mouth of blueberry, black currant, tobacco and black tea leaf. Broad shouldered tannins lead to a delicious chocolate covered strawberry finish.
