December 1, 2022 - Strikingly elegant, with the right verve and juice. A good volume opens up immediately and makes room for many layers, within a red-purplish fruit core with a mild balsamic touch. Love this Barbaresco year after year.

September 5, 2018 - The nose was dark and earthy with balsamic tones giving way to crushed black cherry, strawberry and plum, as sweet herbs and exotic spices seduced the senses. On the palate, silky, polished textures ushered in dark red fruits backed by mineral intensity and zesty acids, as fine tannin settled on the senses, masked by a wave of exotic spice. The finish was structured and long, with lingering tart red and black fruits with balsamic spice.
