December 5, 2023 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor, toast and raisin. It tastes like forest floor, medium toast and raisin. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

November 13, 2019 - Hummmm.....tasted at the winery and hummmm. Tasted many different reds and oddly, they all have the same medicinal residual taste. Same yeast used in all of their wines? This was confirmed by another taster. Was like a light bulb that went off as to what the odd taste was with all of the Daou wines.

September 20, 2019 - Garnet. Smooth easy to drink merlot dominated offering that shows cherry, coffee, chocolate, and blueberry. Long, nice weight.
