Community Tasting Notes 2

December 5, 2023 - Blackish red with a clear watery meniscus. The nose is quite full and rich, with loads of dark red and black fruits, hints of coffee and oak with lots of earthy inky characteristics. The palate is on the lighter side of full-bodied, very balance, well structure, just enough of everything that makes this a dangerously drinkable wine. The flavors of this delicious wine includes quality dark matured black and red fruits (think lack plum and dark cherries) framed in rich vanilla cream, oak, tobacco, medium roast Robusta coffee beans, and lots of earthy inky minerality which gives this wine a very sophisticated vibe. This lovely Chilean red blend paired very well with a 4 cheese pizza. But I also throughly enjoyed this when tasted alone a few hours later. Overall, this was a much better experience than the 2009 version of this wine I tasted 7 years back. Amazing QPR.

November 15, 2019 - Tasted at the Whitewater Valley Wine Society, Hampshire, UK. Grown on the best slopes of the valley this wine was full of vegetative aromas, wood, underbush and herbs. In the mouth there was blackberry, cassis, mocha and tobacco and a steely acidity, finishing with some oak. This wine should last till 2030.
