October 21, 2023 - Initially this is an oak bomb and fruit bomb. By day 2 it mellowed, but it was still too heavy handed for my palate. Notes of plum, blueberry, vanilla, and sweet cedar.

July 19, 2021 - My first one of these merlots from Venge and it was very good. Good to go on PnP but did improve with air. Lots of typical merlot tasting fruit, with a fragrant nose and nice finish. Fleshy and very tasty. Only had one bottle from this vintage. Only issue is its QPR at $65...
