November 10, 2023 - Nice Croatian dry white. Medium straw in color. On the nose green apple, peach, brine, olives. On the palate, melon, mango, Starfruit. A little flabby lacking acidity compared to the sweetness but nice mouth feel. It has an almost olive oil taste and finishes with slate and wet gravel.

February 5, 2022 - Day 1 - Nutty/leafy. Color - shiny medium-light straw. Nose - at cold temperature, crushed almond, chilled clear green tea, with a touch of honey. As it warmed up, additional layers of green ume-plum (probably other people here call apricot but to me ume is closer) and warm/floral jasmine tea. Palate - bone dry, waxy/oily, very clean. Medium amount of acidity is in total round shape without edge, all wrapped in and neutralized by viscosity. Due to this mild-ness, 12.8% alcohol feels richer/warmer/sweeter than actually is and overall the wine gives an aromatic impression despite its modest leafiness, as if neutral high altitude chasselas is mixed with a bit of non-acidic warm climate Viognier. This balance would be partly the characteristic of Grasevina/Welschriesling, but magnified further by the overall purity / some intensityy. 87-90 points (wide range, depending on how you try to appreciate it).
Day 2 - simpler and more focused than day 1. Acidity got linear edge. Hint of quince, melon, lemon, mustard, and camomile. Bone-dry and grape-seedy bitter green spice from the middle to the end palate. Reminds of good muscat of alexandria. 88-89. -

January 20, 2022 - Fairly deeply colored for a supposedly lighter white. A little dried apricot in the nose but otherwise somewhat neutral. Flavors show an old-fashioned winemaking style — i.e., more earth and glycerine than fruit. Made for food. https://www.vinumusa.com/wines/enjingi-grasevina
