  April 4, 2020 - This wine is already on the downhill. Nose has scents of rust and dust. Body is light and somewhat none existant. This is beyond its peak.

  December 29, 2018 - Mushy cork but wine is still in very good shape. Light nose of cherry, cassis, mint and earth. Cool and rich palate with more red/dark fruit, medium length, nice balance, but minimal complexity. Just a little tannin and pepper in the finish. Elegant mid weight wine, very enjoyable - a very pleasant expression of Cabernet that reveals its age by its softness.

  April 11, 2017 - This wine is still going strong although the cork was very brittle. Deep ruby purple color; spice, hints of earth and cedar aromas; medium body with great balance; subtle tannins and nice finish; should drink well for several more years. I have been drinking this vintage of Karl Lawrence since release and it has never disappointed like some of the others have.

  October 5, 2016 - This wine was opened two hours prior to drinking. A very smooth wine with mild remaining fruit. Acid apparent and tannins minimal. The wine is moderately mouth filling with a hint of olive. Really good.

  August 7, 2011 - held up beautiful after 45 minutes in the glass was excellent with dark berries, chocolate , and mocha all very present. Great balance and depth and a long finnish
