August 10, 2020 - Epic wines need to be drunk, not cellared forever. This one would have been great 10 years from now, but maybe not me. So, mesmerizing deep purple hue with a rosy edge. Overripe black cherry nose with lilac notes. Massive tannins tempered with vanilla and caramel undertones, black licorice and swisher sweets on the finish, in good way. Sigh, it’s gone now.
