  January 6, 2024 - Purple in color. 15.5% ABV. Sublime nose of red and black fruits, anise and mint. Medium to full bodied with medium acidity. Fresh, almost light fruits in and exceptionally balanced package. Cherry, raspberry, Christmas spices and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Delicious Zinfandel that was unexpectedly refined. Best over the next 1-2 years.

  November 11, 2023 - Berry and plum, licorice nib, pepper. Zest and smokiness. Finishes with a bitter green edge that is not typical for Turley zins.

  September 18, 2023 - Paired with pizza. Good wine, well developed, has a few more years of life in it before starts fading. I only wish it wasn’t 15.5% alc.

  October 29, 2022 - Decanted 45 minutes. Very shy nose - just a touch of trademark Turley smokey plum/portiness. On the palate, zesty brambleberry, pepper cherries and plums. Finishes a bit chewy with lively acid. No sign of the 15.5% octane, this is rather medium body-ish with smooth, slightly ripe tannins.

  December 15, 2021 - Dark and brooding in the glass. Zippy berry on the nose. Super juicy dark berries and some cedar on the palate. This is a good one!
