-med dark red minimal edge clearing
-perfumed ripe red and dark fruits
-med+ acidity gives great lift, med/med- weight focused crystalline raspberry cherry red fruits and a touch of earthy salinity, med/med- tannins
-this is a fantastic Bourgogne full of verve with good complexity, rivals many village level wines, in the zone now - doubt much upside but no hurry either -

December 7, 2019 - Opened for dinner as a replacement for a cooked bottle and we were convinced we'd hit a bad streak - this was unpleasant at first and then undrinkably tart after an hour. Put the cork back in and tasted the next day, however, it's tart - but within reason. It's also acidic, like 2007-on-release-level acidic. Not a wine I'd seek out this young, but maybe it would go with tomato-based sauces. Beware.
