November 30, 2022 - Two prior bottles of this had been excellent but not reference standard. Now, five years after fermentation, this regular "Alberto Nanclares" cuvée has hit an astonishing peak. Hard to believe that Nanclares y Prieto has even greater wines in its lineup, or that this bottling of this vintage at this age could be bettered by any Albarino at any price.

October 31, 2021 - Lovely Albariño from Rias Baixas. Beautiful clear pale yellow with light green hues. Brings citric, green apple, apricot. Perfectly balanced among alcohol, body and acidity. Average persistence but pleasant finishing.

February 12, 2020 - By the glass. Small family winery in Cambados that presents a simple wine on the nose with citrus notes and freshly cut hay. In the mouth it is more serious, glyceric and dry. The acidity is a bit runaway and the length too tight. Merely acceptable.

Por copas. Pequeña bodega familiar de Cambados que presenta un vino sencillo en nariz con notas cítricas y a heno recién cortado. En boca es más serio, glicérico y seco. La acidez está un poco desbocada y la longitud demasiado ajustada. Meramente aceptable.

August 31, 2019 - Focused and steely with tight notes of citrus and minerals. Lovely acidity which gives structure, vibrancy and depth. Very good with smoky bbq sea bass.

August 25, 2019 - Crackles with energy and zip...minerals to the fore... beautiful balance of lemon rind and richer fruit to wrap around the tongue. Almost Chablis Grand Cru combo of mineral and fruit. Excellent
