Nicely balanced dark fruit and a hint of vanilla on the palate. All in all not a bad glass of wine to have paired with braised short ribs.....

  January 5, 2014 - I had a case of this wine, my first case of wine ever bought. Don't know what happened to my other tasting notes I'm sure over the years I've added them. Two hours open no decant a smooth and very enjoyable wine. End of it's life I imagine but still very nice with good fruit and no age sign in the glass

  March 16, 2012 - Pretty nose of fresh strawberries and cassis--nice combo. Palate reveals a subtle intense and pure focused Cabernet with lots of red/black fruits showing up. This wine belies its age. Fruit still in control, with a hint of welcome secondaries like cedar, mushroom and graphite. Balance is near perfect with tannins fully resolved but not going anywhere soon. Long finish brings out more blacker fruits. this is really an amazing showing. A great QPR on the WB last summer. I shall keep my eyes out for more. Solid 92. Solid.
