July 23, 2023 - Enjoyed with a steak last evening, will finish today with a hardy sauce.
Soft tannins, has a few more years left in it. -

October 15, 2021 - Consistent with prior note, but tannins have continued to soften. Went well with spaghetti with meat sauce. Drink now or in the next ~4 years.

March 27, 2021 - Plum, blackberry, white pepper, cigar box, vanilla, charcoal. Medium-full body. Medium-plus, velvety tannins. Medium acidity. Medium-long finish. Ready now, but maybe another 1-2 years to peak and it should drink well ~5 more years.

February 20, 2021 - I had this wine a year or two ago and it was very closed. Much better this time around. Spice and dark cherry notes. ABV is a high (15.2%) but this wine is well balanced, so it doesn't come off as hot. Delicious.
