That said, it is a bit lacklustre - I mean, how do you get phenolic ripeness at 49 degrees north? You need more than heat...you need hang time. I digress...
Nose: Pepper, earthy compost, tobacco leaf, cocoa, cedar, cassis, with interesting coastal aromas - not bad!
Palate was the let down for me. I was expecting more from the price...it was a little thin, short & the tannin was light - telling me it will not go long. -

September 15, 2019 - Nice cab. With smoked ribs. Stool up well. I’ll bet this continues to age nicely!
