December 20, 2023 - Medium color. Very pretty notes of butter, some citrus, orchard fruit, some spices, also some minerality and almond. Medium-full bodied, with medium+ acidity and very good length. Very pretty Chardonnay from this great producer. Excellent.

November 19, 2023 - Tasted double blind. I guessed a Meursault with 15+ years which shows that this showed quite developed. I’m not sure if this is a representative bottle, but it was great to drink and had no signs of decline. 94/95pts.

TN: This needed a bit of air. With time the nose is more and more expressive, buttery, citrus and orchard fruit. On the palate superb, open and singing with loads of minerality, some flowery ageing notes, some citrus and a bit of baked orchard fruits. Very fresh and balanced. Lots of fun to drink.

Decanting: I would decant it for an hour.

July 13, 2023 - Intricate, delicate and elegant nose that offers remarkable depth and layers of complexity. Fruit, sweet spices, smoke, coca, flower come together in sheer harmony creating sheer synergy and uplift. On the palate, supple, austere yet warm, velvety and vibrant at once. Top class burgundian style bottle.

May 23, 2020 - What a difference to 2.5 years ago when I tasted this last! Delicate and detailed nose with steely mineral notes, crisp citric fruit, slightly unripe pineapple, green pear and freshly pressed green grape juice. There were some sweet notes to it as well as fresh spearmint. If that was not enough, you'll also find melted butter and a puff of fragranced smoke. What a treat this nose! The palate is fresh, the texture slightly creamy and layered. Obsessive attention to detail manifests in every sip. The fruit more pear and quince here. Jaw-dropping evolution adding abundant smokey and popcorn flavours with time in the glass. Take THIS Burgundy and Sonoma (*yours truly doing the Triple H move - for those who used to enjoy a bit of WWF as I did back in the day).
