  November 2, 2023 - No detailed notes taken. Despite its youth, the wine showed a beautiful harmony and freshness. A fine, sharp fruit core dominates with a bit of minerality wrapped around it. While good, this wine doesn‘t have the depth to truly excite.

  October 15, 2023 - (Zwei Gläser aus einer evtl. nicht perfekten Flasche getrunken, daher nur kurze Notiz.)
  
  Wirkt anfangs in der Nase recht reif mit etwas karamellisierter Ananas. Das strafft sich aber schnell und laut Mittrinker wird der Wein mit Luft hier deutlich „jünger“. Dazu gibt es Limette mit Zeste, wenig weißes Steinobst. Außerdem recht rauchig, auch steinig, dunkel und angedeutet nussig. Es gibt Petrol, allerdings aus meiner Sicht für rebsortentypisch als alterungsbedingt, außerdem stört es mich nicht.
  
  Am Gaumen von Anfang an straff, frisch, mit Zug. Sehr gut eingebundene, marmorierende Säure. Die frisch-grüne zitrische Prägung von Limette zieht sich stringent durch, dazu hat’s eine gewaltige, griffige dunkle Mineralik, die jedoch nie dominiert und beherrscht sondern sehr bestimmt im Hintergrund begleitet. Der Wein hat einen wunderbaren, feinen Schmelz.
  
  Ausnehmend lang, nachhaltig, mit wunderbarem Ausklang.
  
  Ich war anfangs bei 93 Punkten, später klar bei 94, aber auch gegen höhere Bewertungen ggfs. aus perfekten Flaschen würde ich keinen Einspruch erheben.

  June 26, 2023 - This is just plain beautiful at the moment. A lean layer of lemon, lime, a touch of smoke and flint which covers more ripe fruit such as white peach and yellow apple. Great acidity and a long finish. 93-94+

  April 7, 2023 - This is really special as it shows the kind of powerful elegance, verve and class that I don’t typically associate with this wine. In my view a classic idig is more full bodied, jammy stone fruits, honey, petrol slightly botrytis influenced wine.
  This particular bottle is all about ripe and fresh citrus fruit, flowers, hints of petrol, chalky minerality and flint. High acidity but very soft on the palate.
  Classy wine to be honest!
