January 1, 2021 - Not paying close attention, but this was certainly pleasant, and agree with the tart apple notes....

May 19, 2019 - Honeycrisp apples and lemon on the nose. Pronounced acidity balanced by a touch of RS. Very refreshing when the weather is right.

April 26, 2019 - The medium+ intensity nose offers lemon/lime citrus, peach, green apple, a tinge of honey, and mineral adding complexity. The medium-bodied palate is crisp, off-dry and honeyed with pretty aroma replays. Acids are vibrant. Nicely balanced overall with a long, lip-smacking finish.

January 4, 2019 - 3 days in Niagara; 1/4/2019-1/6/2019: Apple, pear, lime as well. High acid profile, cleanses the palate - simple but nice.

January 1, 2019 - This is a well-priced (~$20 in Ontario) sparkler from a producer that makes really good Riesling, and as a Riesling sparkler it exhibits nice varietal characteristics, led by a nose of apple, lemon-lime, mild petrol, and minerals -- not terribly complex, but certainly honest. It's not the most elegant sparkler given the fairly large and rough mousse, but the flavours, dominated by Granny Smith apple and lime, show a nice balance of sweet and sour (with a touch of bitterness on the finish), riding a vivacious wave of acidity. On its own, there's just too much tartness, but it works well cutting through light but fatty food. A bit of aging might help, but it's good now given the freshness, solidly in the 87-88 range.
