November 23, 2019 - Not syrupy, and not as weighty as some 2016 Margaret River Cabernet. That said, it’s not love at first sight. There is a bit of a prominent green olive character, not tempered by the oak.
I suspect this wine may be marvellous but best left for a while. A decade ideally.
