Community Tasting Notes 5

May 10, 2022 - A few years has softened this a bit. With candylike fruit, salty minerality and a touch of oxidation this drinks a bit like a fruity sherry. Very nice to sip on its own or with some salted almonds.

February 27, 2021 - Nose is super-duper tropical. Palate is sweet mango and tropical fruit with good acidity and minerality. Nothing yeasty in my bottle. Interesting and tasty.

January 23, 2020 - needs a lot of air and seems like it can go for days. Muted nose. on the palate tropical fruits like mango and pineapple. huge inner mouth florals of white flowers. Classic E&M minerality. An ideal wine for difficult to pair with foods like artichoke

July 19, 2019 - My least favorite E&M white to date. The aromas here are to my taste marred by that beer-like yeasty thing you get with many orange wines.

January 11, 2019 - The 2017 Weissburgunder Muschelkalk is probably the best white I’ve had from Enderle & Moll. Fresh acidity, good balance. Some glycerine, yellow fruit. Perhaps a bit short.
