November 16, 2019 - WAID Piedmont: This is going for a style of Barbera that is bigger and bolder than what I typically associate with the grape. As such I feel like it needs more time to really show its personality... not without charm now but another 5 on its site may pay dividends.
October 13, 2019 - 果香新鲜多汁，李子、蓝莓和树莓的味道，淡烟熏，桶味明显，带有一点点的咸鲜味和香草奶油，干练不乏圆滑。入口集中，颇带紧致感，口腔有收缩感，单宁顺滑，酸度活跃，红色果香尤其是李子的味道迸发，新鲜多汁，黑胡椒的辛辣活跃，加之点点土壤和雪松，余韵有香草味。88/100
July 28, 2019 - New tasting note, because my impressions from this bottle are somewhat different from the previous one.
This time the nose gives plenty of wet forest and ripe berries. On the palate the mature black berries dominate together with obvious tannins. Towards the end some liquorice and orange acidity come forward. Forward is the right word because it all stays in the front and there's nothing much on the back of the palate, as if there is a gap. Be assured I really do like this barbera, but there is something missing to get a 90 or 90+ rating.
June 14, 2019 - Somewhat unripe fruit in nose and palate. Crispy and fruity with liquorice and a touch of leather towards the end. This is a juicy barbera with a clear tannic finish.

Tät och fruktig stil, lagringsbar, mintighet, mer tannin. Kraftfull och modern stil, rotofermenterad, delvis (50%) ny ek, 14%.
Mörkt lila i färgen. Viss mognad på näsan, jord, blommor, tjära, lakrits, viol, svavel, krut.
Varm och fyllig munkänsla, stor textur, fin syra, greppiga tanniner.
