December 8, 2009 - On the ripe side when you smell the nose, full & bold, pretty smooth and balanced but not too complicated. Hard to define, I guess it is an American Super Tuscan if there is such a thing, it went well with spagetti and Italian sausage. Kind of an acquired taste but a nice discovery for those looking for a new sensation.
