November 22, 2023 - This is an over ripe style that was good on release but has not aged well. At this stage it’s nothing but cassis liqueur and anise. Certainly good quality and in others wheelhouse but just not mine. Drink over the next couple years.

October 7, 2023 - Andy does it again! What a fantastic wine. It could benefit from some air or a few more years. We poped and poured last night but it really evolved in the glass.

June 10, 2023 - Delicious mix of dark fruits: blackberries, plum, and hints of leather and tobacco. Smooth, rounded tannins and no alcoholic heat. Paired with elk backstrap and was a perfect compliment.

December 17, 2022 - Nearly opaque in appearance, nose representative of the wine. Dark nearly black fruit with asphalt, tobacco, pencil shavings and cassis. This has to be swirled around the mouth to appreciate all the nuances. Fine tannins underpin the wine to give it structure. I can see this wine losing steam sooner than expected as its mid-palate is not as well defined as it needs to be to last much longer than another 10 years. I enjoyed this wine and will gladly drink up the rest of it.

October 15, 2021 - This wine, along with 7 others, was enjoyed while visiting my daughter recently.

While a part of me wanted to take copious notes on each wine and do reviews on them all, I think once you see the wines and their quality, you’ll understand why that was just not necessary, it would also be time that would be taken away from enjoying the wine and the moments spent with family. Let me assure you all, that every one of the wines was spectacular, even the 19-year-old Champagne, whose bubbles had little left, but nonetheless showed brilliance and age-worthiness.
