January 23, 2022 - A hint of green vegetal on the nose gives away the presence of Carmenere but the palate does not echo that. Soft tannins with decent acidity make this very enjoyable.

January 18, 2021 - Very well balanced blend, on the full side, rounded flavors. Recommended.

May 25, 2020 - I’m surprised by the reviews this mountain wine is getting. I’m Thinking their not grasping Chilean wine style. Last night with a steak this wine sang. Aromas of dark berries and lavender. On the pallet berries and bell peppers with a 30 second finish..

March 29, 2020 - This is an example of why no one should produce a single varietal Cabernet Franc. It should be a blending grape in small quantities only to add complexity. If they had reversed the percentages of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc I’m convinced it would have been better. As is, it is somewhat charmless. It is so dominated by the Cab Franc that nothing else shows through.

July 4, 2019 - Mini tasting with my grandson. He brought this bottle for my opinion. Big wine, ripe with lots of color and tannin. the grapes used were very nice and there is an intense concentration of flavor as well as smokey French oak. Unresolved wine, the winemaking is technically done but without style or intent to resole the tannins and define the flavors. Early racking and some egg whites and this would have been great.
