On the palate: solid acidity, but amazing density and balanced weight, showing the acid in tang on the backend. Finish slightly clipped on the mid, but a touch of warmth lingers. A very nice btl.

June 4, 2023 - Coming from a special high altitude Alpine vineyard in the Alto Adige region of Italy. This vineyard can produce some incredible wines when the vintage isn’t too warm and the beautiful vineyard can shine.
This felt young to me and just starting to turn the corner and show more of itself beyond youthful exuberance. There is still a lot to unpack with this wine as it gradually starts to show the layers of nuance and evolution.
This was completely delicious though, showing mouth coating glycerin on a palate of candied lemon, lemon oil, and saline minerals. Bright acidity helped keep this fresh as the richness of fruit saturated the palate.
The nose was bright and beautiful, showing notes of lemon verbena and a wonderful florality.
A serious wine with a long future ahead. A ton of fun now though, so if you have multiple bottles don’t hesitate to open one now.1 person found this helpful Comment
