  September 6, 2007 - Part of another flight at Vinotecca. $8 per glass. The appearance is ruby red and light. The nose is decent, with some fruit. But the taste is of smoke, almost charcoal, almost dirty, with some unpleasantness this time. There is medium dryness. Low good.

  August 28, 2007 - Cirò DOC. My first experience of the Gaglioppo varietal. Not bad, but underwhelming. Cost $8 per glass; part of a flight at Vinotecca. The tannins are prominent but there is some fruit too. Good (83.5).
