  February 18, 2024 - I didn't pay as much attention to this as I usually do because of the chaos of 5 kids at a restaurant but what does stick in memory is the spiced fruit and the velvet texture. This has been such a great wine for us I'll be sad when it's all gone.

  August 20, 2022 - Meget pen barbera med fortsatt fin kirsebærfrukt ispedd litt krydder og mandler. Behagelig syre og lette tanniner. Saftig og lang utgang. 14% abv gir en fin balanse og nok siste gang vi ser en så lav prosent på denne vinen. Perfekt match til andebryst med kirsebærsaus. Flaskevariasjon på disse, denne var meget bra!

  August 19, 2022 - What a joy it is drinking this wine!
  
  Layered and complex nose with tart cherries, hints of dried fruit, moist forrest floor, tar, leather, spice, marzipan and smoke. Medium bodied, like velvet in the mouth but not without backbone. Almost chunky fruit. Long.
  
  The wizard from Monforte strikes again - bravo!

  July 18, 2022 - Plump, rik og alkoholsk med tydelig varme i finish. Ubalansert. Kommer seg litt med 3 t med luft, men dette er ikke en optimal flaske.
