October 13, 2022 - Good balance of fruit and acid, with fine tannins. Nice juicy finish. Not terribly complex, but very drinkable and satisfying.

November 6, 2021 - I agree with a prior note about the lack of complexity but the alcohol has subsided somewhat with age and it’s now a very approachable blend with good fruit.

April 30, 2021 - I’m a big Aluve fan but I found this wine to be a bit one dimensional, with good fruit and modest tannins.

September 14, 2019 - Consistent with my last note, but this was showing stronger tannins than I remember last. However, this was PnP with no decant. Its perfectly enjoyable now, but will definitely mellow out and appeal to the masses in 1-2 years.

Day 2 - this has really mellowed out. Similar tasting notes to day one, but superbly easy to drink.

September 1, 2019 - Tasted at their Walla Walla Tasting Room:

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Petit Verdot, and 18% Merlot

This was an easy drinking and delicious example of a Walla Walla Bordeaux Blend. Although slightly hot, it was very representative of an old-world style, being filled with damp cigar box and earth, but ever-present fruit. Reminds me of some excellent Napa examples.

    Drink now through 2023.
