April 24, 2024 - Took a mag of this to Black & Blue to share with some old former colleagues, most of us retired. It showed beautifully, complex, balanced, rich yet refreshing. For a hot vintage, it is still classic in style and was widely enjoyed.

April 6, 2024 - The best bottle yet, this builds on my previous notes but is just richer, deeper, and more expansive - without losing any energy or finesse. Apple pastry, lemon curd, creme pat, toasted almonds with an extremely fine mousse. Lovely as an aperitif in this case.

February 8, 2024 - A bit richer than my previous bottle with a deep pastry and roasted nut bass overlayed with fresh citrus and baked apples. Gorgeous mouthfeel. Pretty much what I'd expect.

January 4, 2024 - Lighter and fresher than I was expecting, but by no means simplistic. This does have weight and complexity beneath the crisp citrus and orchard fruit with some youthful autolysis creeping in. For my palate I'd prefer a bit more age and richness, but these are a delicious aperitif in the meantime.

December 17, 2023 - Still light colour - no signs of ageing. The nose is dominated by citrus, with a slight hint of the bakery. A bit underwhelming freshness to begin with. I thought it was a bit 'flat.' However, with time - and probably temperature - it firms up and becomes distinctly deeper and fresher. Quite surprisingly. Not one of the best vintages I've had of this wine. So far (and I've not gone into the 2008s yet), they are 1996 and 2002.
